AFRO-LATINA CONTENT CREATOR
KISHA GULLEY
Founded in 2008, The Kisha Project is the premiere platform connecting Black mothers with mental health and parenting resources. Recognizing the need for an outlet for moms to cope with postpartum depression, this niche media company has since grown its horizons through the power of storytelling. The Kisha Project documents a personal turned mainstream and nuanced take on culturally competent support for families of autistic children to bring awareness to the social issues that impact the Black community. The efforts to create meaningful and inspiring content online have expanded to a constant of positive images of Black women through self-care, style tips, and being a dynamic voice promoted by and for the Afro-Latinx community–prioritizing dignity, education, and relatability above all.
