Saving Lives, One Bar of Soap At A Time

SoapBox and Clean the World Foundation have partnered to give back to the community. With the soap in schools program they are making sure to cut down on illnesses

I absolutely love working with brands and companies who make a difference in the community. There are so many things I want to teach my son, giving back and how to be a good human being is on the top of the list. That’s why I am happy to be partnering with SoapBox and the Clean the World Foundation to donate 10,000 bars of soap to people in need. More specifically the “Soap in Schools” program.

May 5 is world hand hygiene day. I know people probably don’t think twice about cleaning their hands but imagine how many illnesses you could eliminate if you washed your hands. Washing your hands prevents the spreading of germs. According to the “Removing germs through handwashing helps prevent diarrhea and respiratory infections and may even help prevent skin and eye infections.” So the Clean the World Foundation is focusing on comprehensive Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives that address the complex needs of impoverished communities.

I would love it if you would join us in our mission to deliver 10,000 bars to those in need!

The soaps smell so good!

Soapbox is working toward this goal by donating soap and funding hygiene initiatives with every purchase of there amazing hair care and personal wash products! For every purchase made with my promo code: 10KsoapKisha or by clicking on this link: the donation will be doubled! (2 bars instead of 1.) You also get 10% off through 5/31/18.

Some of us probably do not think of how important soap is because it’s such a basic commodity to us. There are far too many people who do not have access or cannot afford a simple bar of soap

Just to give you a little background about who these awesome companies are and what they do.

Why SoapBox Soaps?

Every time you purchase a SoapBox product, they also donate a bar of soap to someone in need. The soap is actually made from recycled hotel soap that have been shaved down, sanitized, and reformed to make a brand new bar. This is awesome because soap isn’t going to waste. They also provide hygiene lessons. They don’t just give them the soaps, they are teaching the proper hand washing etiquette. The best part is the soaps smell amazing!

Who is Clean the World Foundation

Clean the World Foundation was founded in 2009 to address global health issues by using recycled and repurposed supplies from the hospitality industry. They also engage in global emergency efforts.

What exactly is the “Soap In Schools Program?” A program that provides ongoing hygiene education to children in schools. For the past two years this program has been successfully teaching students how to properly wash their hands and the importance. They then go on to teach their own families.

Added Bonus

Clean the World also does work with Floating Doctors. They provide support to the Ngobe-Bugle indigenous people in Western Panama. This is special to me because I am from Panama.

Soap is something we all need and use. Wouldn’t it be awesome to know that when you buy your soap you will be helping out a person in need? If you would like more info about where the 10,000 bars are going, you can visit: Clean the World.
