My first blog post! Yaaay! Now lets see where do I begin? I’m calling this blog “The Kisha Project” because this has been 12 years in the making. I became a flight attendant in 2005 when I was 22 years old. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was going to finally be able to do what I love, TRAVEL! To make it even better I was going to be moving to San Juan, Puerto Rico. I was young, single, and free living in the Caribbean. I knew I was going to have to chronicle my travels. However over the years with everything going on in my life I never got around to actually sharing it with anyone. Fast Forward 10 years, my favorite captain Courtney and I decided to dip our pens in the company ink and start dating. At the time I was living in California, and commuting to Dallas to work. We started spending all of our time together and before we knew it I had moved in. About a year after that I left the airline where I met the love of my life and started working for another carrier. On the night of my graduation I GOT PREGNANT! So much was happening so fast! We had our son June 13, 2016 and got married February 26, 2017. I went from traveling all over the world and partying until the morning to being a stay at home wife and mom. It was the first time since I was 15 years old that I didn’t have a job. I had no idea what I was doing or how to even prepare for the most important thing that was going to happen in my life. My life is a work in progress and I’m just handling it as I go. I’m using this project as my creative outlet. Bear with me as I tweak a couple of things here and there and grow as a new mommy.
